Location: ColeshillSalary: £25,000-£28,000Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client in Coleshill is looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to strengthen their finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving company and team playing a vital role in managing accounts payable functions efficiently.

Main Duties:
  • Accurately processing supplier invoices in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Delivering excellent support to internal teams and stakeholders within the business.

  • Developing strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.

  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies effectively.

  • Ensuring invoices and expenses are posted and paid in line with the agreed schedule.

  • Managing supplier payment processes, prioritising key accounts where necessary.

  • Responding to supplier and internal queries in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Assisting with financial close processes at month-end and year-end.

  • Contributing to continuous process improvements and system enhancement projects.

  • Following audit guidelines and VAT regulations to maintain compliance.

  • Adhering to payment timetables and proactively securing invoice authorisations.

  • Handling intercompany invoice processing and reconciliations, collaborating with credit control to clear outstanding balances.
