FRS have been enlisted by a privately owned business based in Warwickshire with the recruitment of a newly formed CEO role.

The business are seeking a hands on CEO to be based in Warwickshire. The business are known for their innovation, strong industry presence & commitment to delivering exceptional value to their customers. As they look to continue growth and solidify their position in the market, the business are seeking an experienced & forward thinking Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive the business forward as the Directors look towards other ventures in the future.

This is a newly created position which offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of the company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in a growth-focused environment, with a keen understanding of both strategic and operational challenges at this scale of business.

Suitable candidates will have significant experience as CEO / Managing Director / Operational Director or similar for a circa £25m T/O business. You will be strategically minded with a key focus on driving the business forward whilst maintaining high company standard for customer engagement.

A base salary around £100k (negotiable on experience) is attached plus a 50% bonus based on KPI's & company performance is also attached. A range of LTIP & additional benefits are being discussed as we speak.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the company's vision, mission, and overall strategy in alignment with the board’s long-term objectives.
  • Drive business growth, expanding market share and enhancing profitability across all departments.
  • Lead the development of new business opportunities and identify strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions.
  • Foster innovation and continuously evaluate new market trends, business models, and technologies.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure the effective running of all business operations, improving efficiencies, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion the implementation of best practices across departments, focusing on continuous improvement and operational agility.
  • Oversee the management of risk, ensuring that company policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the business, representing the company to customers, partners, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Engage the board and other senior executives in the decision-making process and ensure regular reporting on business performance.

Team Development and Culture

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the senior management team, instilling a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive corporate culture, ensuring alignment with company values and long-term goals.
  • Foster leadership development within the organization and ensure succession planning is in place for key roles.
