This company has a clear vision of where its looking to grow, and an equally clear vision of the marketer they’re looking for to help drive them to achieve their goals. Sitting very firmly in the b2b category, they’re looking for an experienced marketer to help drive strategy, working closely with the sales team, and they’re ideally looking for someone to join them as soon as possible in 2025 so they can get the year off to a fabulous start!
The role:
This will be the most senior marketing position within the organisation and whilst there’s only one other member of the team at the moment, the plan for the next financial year does include growing the team. This is a full 360 marketing role, and whilst they’re looking for someone strategic who can manage the budget, they also need someone who is happy to be hands on in terms of implementation. You will develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness both in existing sectors and also new ones, and they’ve identified a particular emphasis on manufacturing and the public sector. The campaigns which you will plan and execute will be across digital, email, social and events.
It will also be your responsibility to ensure brand consistency, both internally and externally ensuring consistency across all channels. You’ll also be involved with leveraging customer insights and market research to refine messaging and positioning. Additionally, you’ll manage the external agency.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who has both experience of strategy and managing the marketing budget but is equally happy to roll their sleeves up and get involved with the day to day implementation. You’ll need to be proficient in digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp and HubSpot, and CRM systems and ideally have some experience with design software and content management systems. You’ll have experience of running and planning events and running a variety of campaigns. People management experience is also important and it would be a real advantage if you had experience of working within a business looking to expand into new markets.
What’s on Offer?
This is definitely a role with lots of opportunity. Its with a business which really understands what they need from marketing and are prepared to offer the tools to achieve it. They work on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 2 days in the office (usually fixed days), and the salary for the role is £40-45,000. They’re keen to get the right person in place as soon as possible, so interviews before Christmas or early in the New Year are very much on the table.
