Our client, a leading energy consultancy, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their team. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships and support the sales team with accurate data and insights. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring effective follow-up & engagement.
  • Qualify prospects and guide them through the sales cycle to secure new deals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Support the tender bidding process to maximise success rates.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to provide client insights and sales data.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Energy industry experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience of sales administration – including the production of proposals   
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a confident approach.
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed.
