Residential Conveyancer

Location: Kenilworth, Warwickshire

Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (1 day a week remote)

My client is a well-established, multi-site law firm with a strong reputation across Warwickshire. Known for delivering exceptional legal services, it takes pride in its long-standing client relationships and high staff retention. The firm’s Kenilworth office is now seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their close-knit team.

The Role:

As an experienced Residential Conveyancer, you will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Lease extensions

It would be advantageous, but not essential, if you have some experience in commercial property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing your own caseload from instruction to completion
  • Handling freehold, leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and lease extensions
  • Communicating effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders
  • Acting as a mentor to more junior members of the team
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Providing excellent client care, maintaining the firm’s reputation for quality service

You

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential conveyancing
  • Ability to manage a full and varied caseload independently
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with case management systems
  • Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or years of experience as a Conveyancer
  • Some commercial property experience is beneficial but not essential
