Your new companyHays Education are a market leading agency and recruits for many nurseries across Coventry and Warwickshire. Here at Hays we are currently recruiting for Nursery practitioners across Coventry and Warwickshire and surrounding areas on both a temporary and permanent basis with flexible working hours to fit around you.Your new roleAs a Nursery practitioner you will be required to work alongside a small enthusiastic team working with 2-3 year olds to support their learning and development, this may also include free flow amongst the various age groups within the preschool at break and lunch times. You will nurture and encourage the children's learning and development through a range of activities, play and interaction. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 4pm during term time only. This is a temporary long-term contract to cover maternity leave from December 2024 through to July 2025 You will assist the children in their daily activities, with meal times, nap times and toileting ensuring you adhere to the safeguarding policy at all times. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful, you must be level 3 qualified and have experience working with young children in an Early year setting, recent experience working with children within a child care or school setting is preferred which we are able to reference within the last 5 years. You must be organised and be able to work to your own initiative and have a calm and understanding approach to working with children.
