Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employee Relations Advisor. This key role within the HR Operations team will see you become the go-to person for all employee relations matters. With a hybrid working model that includes two days per week on-site in Warwickshire, this role offers flexibility and productivity. What you'll do:

As an Employee Relations Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide first-line advice and manage a variety of ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and redundancies. You'll ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Your role will involve liaising with various stakeholders such as line managers, ACAS, solicitors, etc., to resolve ongoing cases. You'll also oversee ER ticketing systems for efficient case handling while maintaining accurate ER records for data analysis and trend reporting. Additionally, you'll support training initiatives aimed at equipping managers with the necessary knowledge to handle ER matters effectively.

* Provide end-to-end case management on employee relations matters, ensuring cases are managed effectively and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)* Offer clear and commercial advice that balances legal compliance and business needs to all colleagues and managers* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve ongoing cases* Oversee and manage ER ticketing systems to ensure accurate and timely case handling* Ensure ER records are maintained accurately, enabling robust data analysis and trend reporting across the organisation* Support and deliver training initiatives that equip managers with the knowledge to handle employee relations matters effectively

What you bring:

To succeed in this Employee Relations Advisor role, you'll need a solid background in HR and employee relations. Your strong communication skills will enable you to handle a large volume of cases efficiently while paying attention to detail. You should be CIPD qualified (minimum Level 3) with demonstrated experience managing high volumes of ER cases. A thorough understanding of relevant UK and ROI employment law is essential. Your strong stakeholder management skills will allow you to build relationships at all levels. Proficiency in using MS Office and HR information systems for case management and reporting is also required. Knowledge of Republic of Ireland employment legislation would be advantageous but not essential.
