Event Sales Executive Responsibilities:

  • Pursue and maximise every opportunity by identifying and reaching out to senior decision-makers
  • Build a healthy sales pipeline by developing meaningful and lasting relationships with potential customers
  • Maintain regular contact with a portfolio of clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Encourage and close sales by engaging potential clients and promoting upcoming events
  • Enhance brand awareness by attending networking and trade events and promoting the company's offering
  • Own the entire sales cycle, which includes updating the CRM with sales activity

Event Sales Executive Skills and Experience:

  • Previous sales and business development experience is essential
  • Proactive and driven, able to drive new business and develop a healthy sales pipeline
  • Professional and engaging telephone manner, confident in making high-volume calls to potential customers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident liaising at all levels and fostering trusting relationships
  • A proactive and motivated self-starter, who is enthusiastic, positive and results-orientated
  • Thrives in a target=-driven environment and has a history of exceeding expectations and meeting targets
  • Must have a driving licence due to the location of the office and a passport as international travel several times per year is expected
