As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their finance team.

Role Overview: As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable function, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of invoices, and leading a dedicated team. You will be responsible for maintaining strong vendor relationships, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Implement and monitor accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an accounts payable role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
