The successful candidate will be instrumental in building excellent relations with commercial teams and senior stakeholders, driving profitability through identifying cost-cutting opportunities, and bringing best practice to improve and change processes.

Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be instrumental in ensuring strong commercial and operational decision-making. You will manage financial risks and opportunities for the region, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and reviewing annual budgets, handling month-end journals, and closing accounts. You will also have the opportunity to manage and support the development of the finance team while implementing robust processes. Furthermore, you will prepare monthly management information, including in-depth variance analysis and underlying performance reporting.

  • Work closely with the Regional Business Director and various internal/external stakeholders
  • Manage financial risks and opportunities for the region
  • Prepare and review annual budgets and reforecasting
  • Handle month end journals and accounts closure
  • Manage and support the development of the finance team
  • Implement robust processes
  • Prepare and review monthly management information including in-depth variance analysis and underlying performance reporting
  • Provide financial oversight for all contract amendments and service pricing

What the successful candidate will bring

  • Two years' experience as a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Commercial experience in large contract management
  • Evidence of Business Partnering with non-financial colleagues up to a senior level
  • Excellent excel and modelling skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
  • Results driven with ability to make decisions under pressure
