Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Temporary Bank Reconciliation Clerk to assist with the daily reconciliation of the company's bank accounts. This role involves comparing financial transactions in the bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and experience with accounting software.

This is a temporary assignment for a minumum of 3 months, you must be able to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and company records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth processing and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bank reconciliations or accounting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
