SCADA TesterWarwick (Onsite Role)Salary is Neg Depending on ExperinceOverviewWe're seeking an experienced SCADA Tester to ensure robust testing design and execution, achieving comprehensive test coverage. This role involves monitoring and reporting on test progress using JIRA/XRAY while collaborating with teams to meet delivery requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Review functional designs to ensure tests meet requirements.
- Design and execute tests to ensure complete coverage.
- Assure 3rd party testing meets delivery standards.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, SCADA SMEs, and business testers to refine user stories and tests.
- Monitor and report on test progress using JIRA/XRAY and defined processes.
- Identify and address risks and issues in testing, creating and managing action plans as needed.
- Lead defect triage within your ART team, engaging appropriate stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent testing practices aligned with the defined test strategy, approach, and phase plans.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience with SCADA systems in electricity transmission, preferably OSI Monarch (other SCADA platforms considered).
- Hands-on testing experience in SCADA for power utilities, including real-time control and NMS (Network Monitoring Systems).
- Knowledge of integration middleware such as Oracle MFT and Mulesoft APIs.
- Familiarity with power systems and control systems engineering standards (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, GI74, IEC 61850, IEEE standards).
- Agile methodology experience.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP-ALM).
- Experience with power utility transmission networks, including alarm management, work pack management, and change management.
- Strong skills in various testing phases (SIT, SAT, FAT) and test design, documentation, and defect management.
