About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you will provide expert Employee Relations (ER) support and guidance to managers, ensuring best practices align with the organisation's policies and employment legislation. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive a positive and effective people management culture while contributing to HR projects and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of employment, including performance, conduct, absence management, and policy interpretation.
- Manage the full life cycle of ER cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals.
- Support change management initiatives and contribute to building a positive workplace culture.
- Deliver HR-specific training and coaching to improve manager capability.
- Assist with policy development, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Analyse HR data and trends to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role, with a strong focus on Employee Relations.
- Proven ability to guide managers through ER issues, including performance, attendance, and conduct matters.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in change management and coaching managers through organisational transitions.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
