Inventory Systems Analyst - Oracle & MS AccessLocation: Warwick on a Hybrid basis 3 days a weekSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 + benefitsSummary:Fantastic opportunity to join a long-established business that is highly committed to achieving customer focused results. The successful candidate will utilise a strong blend of analytical and systems capability (including advanced MS Access) together with a depth of operational inventory management knowledge to develop effective and efficient forecasting and inventory management solutions and processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oracle SCM Planning System Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert by mastering system functionality, ensuring data integrity, managing upgrades, and developing intuitive layouts, views, and reports.

  • Process & Reporting Development: Design efficient planning and inventory management processes, and build dynamic reports using tools like Oracle FBDI, SQL, MS Access, Business Objects, and Excel to support data-driven decisions.

  • Training & Documentation: Create structured training materials and reference documentation for both planners and system administrators to ensure effective system use.

  • Operational Support & Issue Management: Monitor system operations, proactively manage issues, and support the Inventory team in achieving KPIs related to product availability, stock quality, and consumer satisfaction.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced Technical & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated advanced capability in MS Access, together with Excel and SQL, for managing and analysing complex datasets, with strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Inventory Management Knowledge: Hands-on experience with inventory systems and planning concepts, including forecasting, safety stock, parameters, master data and technical setup/configuration.

  • Problem-Solving & Detail Orientation: Skilled in identifying data anomalies, performing root cause analysis, and implementing lasting solutions with high attention to detail.

  • Effective Communication & Continuous Improvement: Strong communicator with the ability to train others, challenge existing processes constructively, and drive continuous improvement using tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
