Policy by Murray are delighted to be working with The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI), who are looking for a creative Copy and Content Manager to join their dynamic marketing team.

About the Role:

As the Copy and Content Manager you will work as part of the Marketing team to execute the business's marketing strategy by creating clear and engaging copy for internal and external communications, and campaigns aimed at different stakeholder audiences.

You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the brand's tone of voice, partnering with Head of Marketing and Communications, Head of Membership, and the Head of Policy and Public Affairs to ensure that all communications are of high quality and consistent across the organisation.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft compelling messaging that strategically supports the Association's objectives, effectively connecting with members, potential members, and key industry stakeholders while maintaining a consistent brand representation
  • Develop comprehensive industry knowledge by collaborating with colleagues, members, and other stakeholders to ensure technically precise and engaging communications across all channels
  • Create diverse content across multiple communication platforms in close collaboration with the marketing team, including managing the quarterly 'Landscape News' journal and developing a strategic press release calendar
  • Proactively support cross-departmental initiatives by editing and proofreading copy, staying current with storytelling techniques, and attending industry events to represent the Association's interests and enhance communication standards
  • Maintain a professional and distinctive tone of voice, continuously updating marketing communication materials and ensuring all content meets current organisational guidelines and industry best practices

About You:

Strong writing skills is king for this role. You must be a skilled content copywriter with a keen understanding of the diverse needs of your audiences and a genuine passion for storytelling. It is also expected that you will be able to disseminate technical language into digestible prose.

Highly organised, proactive, and personable, you thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to support the marketing, membership, and policy departments with attendance at events.
