The Role of Trainee Workshop Technician:

  • Workshop based in Kenilworth, (90% of the time), with occasional site visits (10%).
  • Carrying out repairs, services and calibrations to pneumatic and electrical tooling equipment.
  • Utilising electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
  • Receiving training on cutting edge machinery and systems.
  • Supporting an established existing team of service and workshop engineers.
  • A Mon - Fri role working 40 hours per week before overtime; 8am - 5:30pm.

Ideal Background for the Trainee Workshop Technician:

  • A strong mechanical understanding with a related engineering qualification (NVQ, BTec, City & Guilds, etc.)
  • Seeking training and a long-term career.
  • Familiarity with tooling and pneumatics is beneficial.
  • Engineers from the Armed Forces are also advised to apply.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • Willing / able to commute to Kenilworth daily.
  • You'll need a full driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
