Key responsibilities

  • Provide advice on tax codes, holiday accrual, sickness, etc.
  • Provide advice to line managers (or staff) on company policy
  • Basic pension advice and guidance
  • Keep up-to-date records of employees’ personal data to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time, including pension data and contributions.
  • Make necessary updates in line with legislation, payroll, pension, and system procedures to deliver and support a high level of service.
  • Build and support relationships with employee pension providers and the company’s internal pension teams, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to and deliver on projects and activities set by the line manager to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in payroll.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook.
  • Experience using Sage, Workday, or ResourceLink.
  • Understanding of payroll policies.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A*-C, 9-4).
