Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Clerk to join their team in Coventry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in payroll and finance, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. You will be responsible for recording and producing weekly and monthly payroll, reporting pensions, maintaining accurate records of deductions, and assisting with end-of-year accounts preparation. Additionally, you will assist with reconciling bank accounts, managing debtors and creditors, and performing intercompany reconciliation. What you'll do:

As a Payroll Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth running of the company's payroll system. You will be tasked with accurately recording and producing weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring that all employees are paid correctly and on time. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for reporting pensions and maintaining accurate records of deductions. Your role will also involve assisting with end-of-year accounts preparation, providing crucial support to the finance team during this busy period. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skill set by assisting with reconciling bank accounts across different currencies, managing debtors and creditors, and performing intercompany reconciliation.

* Accurately record and produce weekly and monthly payroll* Timely report pensions and maintain accurate records of deductions* Generate and post payroll journals in preparation for month-end reporting* Calculate and submit P11D/Annual leave accruals* Monitor the Payroll Email box, handling all relevant queries* Assist with end-of-year accounts preparation* Reconcile multiple bank accounts across different currencies* Assist with managing debtors and creditors* Perform intercompany reconciliation
