Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an experienced finance assistant to join a business based in Warwick on a fulltime, permanent basis. This role offers great exposure in a growing business, working closely with the Financial Manager you will gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to be a part of a supportive business.
Daily tasks will include:
- Maintaining the Sales and Purchase Ledger.
- Preparing weekly payment runs.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Credit Control - chasing debtors.
- Preparing and posting journals.
- Manage holiday requests.
- Additional ad hoc tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years experience in similar role.
- Strong communication skills and good telephone manner.
- Ability to prioritise and plan workload.
- Knowledge of VAT and CIS rules.
- Good Excel and Analytical skills.
- A can-do positive approach to work with a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, established business and will benefit from a competitive salary up to £26,000 - £27,000 per annum DOE.
