We are currently recruting for our client based in Warwickshire for a Housing Services Manager on a Temporary basis of 12 Months. This role is offering a flexible working pattern and will be covering both tenancy and estate management.

Key duties include:

  • Overseeing the management of the housing management function to ensure excellent, value for money, service delivery in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Lead by example in facilitating a responsive and empathetic service which puts the customer first and has a focus on tenancy sustainment
  • Nurture the motivation and development of the teams, whilst being decisive in tackling behaviours which do not accord with corporate values
  • Understand the performance of the service and identify opportunities for service improvement, innovation and development
  • Provide leadership to ensure that officers are empowered to realise their potential and to take ownership of their work. Where appropriate, to ensure that non performance is managed effectively and in a timely manner
  • Management of complex housing related projects that inform and facilitate the delivery of the housing service plan, Housing Strategy and the Housing Revenue Account business plan
  • To work and manage the housing service and develop processes collectively with other managers in the service and corporate teams to implement service improvement changes
