About the Role
 
As a Technical Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining a wide range of educational products. You’ll be responsible for creating qualifications, instructor-led training programs, and e-learning courses that meet market needs, align with industry standards, and comply with regulatory requirements. From initial concept through to launch, you will manage projects, collaborate with subject matter experts, and ensure that the products are fit for purpose and of the highest quality.
 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Project Management: Lead the development of qualifications, training products, and assessments, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts and external stakeholders to align products with industry requirements and market needs.
  • Product Design: Develop clear, structured, and compliant qualification and training content, including assessments that are valid and reliable.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control processes throughout product development to ensure all products meet internal and external standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Incorporate feedback from customers and stakeholders to improve and maintain products, ensuring they remain competitive and effective.
 
Experience Required 
  • Experience in educational product development
  • Knowledge of UK qualification frameworks
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong organisational, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of e-learning tools and Learning Management Systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
