Behaviour Mentor | Primary School in Croydon

Are you passionate about the wellbeing and education of young people? Do you want to spend the remainder of this academic year making a positive impact as a Behaviour Mentor?

If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor who can join our partner Primary School in Croydon and provide support to two pupils in Year 1 with SEND.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting two children with non-verbal Autism. Their behaviour is challenging and the ability to remain calm in demanding moments is crucial.

  • Ideally has obtained a degree and has a passion for education/SEND
  • Has previous experience working with SEND
  • Ideally has experience working with non-verbal ASC
  • Can start immediately and commit to the remainder of the academic year
  • Has excellent communication skills, patience and resilience
  • Has a never-give-up attitude
This is a fantastically rewarding opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor who is looking for a challenging role after University. Gaining experience working in a school setting, this role will be ideal for an aspiring Teacher, Clinical or Educational Psychologist. Day to day you will be working with pupils who need additional support and empathy, assisting with their learning in-class to help them remain focused, engaged and on-task.
