The Role
Due to the continued success of my client d, they are actively seeking a Multi-Skilled Electrical Bias Field Service Engineer to join our team to install, maintain and service our specialist range of industrial food processing and packaging machinery.
Whilst preference will be given to candidates with experience on machinery in the FMCG environment, training will be provided for the successful candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge and develop your career in a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
Key responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Electrical Bias Field Service Engineer include:
- Installing, commissioning and training for machinery.
- Servicing and maintaining our range of machinery such as VFFS, HFFS, Multihead Weighers etc.
- Fault Diagnosing and repair (electrical and mechanical)
- Troubleshooting known and unknown issues related to breakdown
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with clients
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety at all times

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Multi-Skilled Electrical Bias Field Service Engineer:
- A sound electrical knowledge ranging from safety circuits, low voltage relay logic and PLC control systems to high current power circuits including motors and heaters, as well as a strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to maintain a strong relationship with colleagues and clients at all levels
- The ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative is essential
- A full and clean driving licence
- Although the candidate will be Rochester-based, regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with frequent overnight stays plus some overseas travel is a requirement of the position
