Caralex Recruitment Limited are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-regarded award-winning housebuilder in Kent.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, have a methodical and diligent approach to work and have a good knowledge of project assessment and management processes.

You would be expected to work on large scale residential projects through multiple phases throughout the South East region and have prior experience in delivering on residential projects in a Quantity Surveying role as well as knowledge in using COINS.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the feasibility and cost of projects
  • Analysing proposals, bids and contracts
  • Preparing cost reports and negotiating contracts with sub-contractors
  • Drafting legal documents
  • Monitoring progress
  • Ensuring that quality standards are adhered to
