We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an SME family run business,based in Keston.As a Customer Account Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining and growing sales and gross profit within a set group of customers. You will ensure customer loyalty through exceptional service and strong relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding of new customers won by the Business Development team.
  • Take ownership of new customers as their internal point of contact.
  • Manage existing customer accounts, focusing on increasing sales and gross profit.
  • Serve as the main internal contact for selected customer accounts, handling inquiries, orders, and complaints.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and product availability.
  • Liaise with external account managers to provide comprehensive support to customers.

Requirements

  • Self-starter, able to overcome minor setbacks and stay focused on outcomes.
  • Confident communicator across phone, email, and meetings.
  • Strong team player with excellent time and project management skills.
  • Solution-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.
  • Previous experience in the foodservice market or packaging industry desirable.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
