We are looking for an experienced general manager to join our client's team.

The right candidate will have experience as a general manager or assistant general manager of a 4 or 5 star hotel.

The property is a small but unique art deco Hotel in a stunning secluded part of the Lake District, surrounded by nature and wildlife and offers beautiful uninterrupted views of this stunning part of the Lake District, ideal for those who love the outdoors.

They are looking for a passionate, career driven professional to help improve, grow and deliver a special experience to guests. They have a restaurant and a brasserie/bar under the management of our chef Patron and 17 bedrooms.

It is recommended that you have access to your own transport as the location is approximately 13 miles from the nearest town and 5 miles to the local shop, no access via public transport. However there is rented accommodation nearby.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of supervising experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record in hotel management and guest services
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Proficiency in human resources practices within a hospitality setting
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing and improving overall hotel operations
