Accounting Technician - Full TimeLocation: KeswickSalary: £28,000 - £33,000 DOE

Adecco are delighted to be recruiting for a full-time Accounting Technician to join a respected, family-run business in Keswick. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a multi award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants, tax, and business advisers.

About the Role

You'll support the smooth running of a busy office, working on financial records, VAT returns, and assisting with the production of financial accounts. In-practice experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • General office administration

  • Recording financial transactions

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable

  • Coding invoices using Xero, QuickBooks, and SAGE

  • Handling bank deposits and petty cash

  • Bookkeeping tasks as assigned

  • Preparing income and expenditure reports

  • Producing profit and loss statements and balance sheets

  • Filing and document management

  • Experience with planning, diary management, and office systems
