A specialist case management and rehabilitation company that provides support work, case management, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and medico legal services to children and adults across North England and south Scotland is looking for a Rehabilitation Support Companion in Keswick. Along with a salary starting from £14.00 per hour (depending on experience), you will also receive generous mileage rates, additional holiday accrued with service, a pension scheme, health cover and employee rewards. What you’ll do as Rehabilitation Support Companion:You will be required to work with a 24-year-old client with Acquired Brain Injury. He was involved in an incident when he was 12 years of age and although he is very independent in most areas, he requires support to keep him focussed on some aspects of daily living. This post would suit an active lover of the outdoors. You will assist the young client to access the community and engage in activities of interest to him. A sense of humour would be essential and someone who is able to go on long walks. He has completed some of the Wainwright walks and is ready for more challenging hikes. He also doesn’t mind the slower pace of life and enjoys the occasional cuppa and cake!We’re looking for a Rehabilitation Support Companion with:

Previous experience working in a support worker role.
Driving licence and car owner is essential.
Trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
