Job Title:Draughtsman

Salary:35,000(Depending on experience)
Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for providing 2D and 3D draughting services using SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, including fabrication and assembly drawings, using SolidWorks 3D design software.
- Generate and manage BOMs within the company ERP system (Jobscope).
- Work closely with the manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams to ensure designs meet business requirements.
- Ensure drawings and parts database are always up to date with current revisions.
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation processes to ensure the company's position is protected.
- Follow all company procedures, including health & safety and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience as a Design Engineer/Draughtsman in a similar industry.
- Background in steelwork fabrication.
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
