An experienced professional with 4-5 years of practice experience, ready to take the next step in your career? We’re working with a highly reputable firm located between Kettering and Corby that’s looking for an Accounts and Audit Senior to join their supportive, growth-focused team.
Your Role:
Accounts (60%): Preparing accounts, business tax computations, management accounts, and VAT returns.Audit (40%): Leading audits from planning to completion while supervising and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts and tax computations for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Conduct audits of financial statements and ensure they’re ready for manager review.
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and build strong relationships.
- Guide junior team members, review their work, and provide training.
- Deliver management accounts and VAT returns as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with 4-5 years of practice experience.
- Confident leading audit assignments independently.
- Comfortable interacting with owner-managed businesses and statutory accounts.
- Proficient in Excel with strong overall IT skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
