A well-established accountancy firm in Kettering is looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to Assistant Manager to join their friendly and collaborative team. The firm has a long-standing presence in the area and offers a relaxed office culture with hybrid and flexible working options.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client ownership and wants to develop their audit expertise across a varied portfolio. The team works with a range of clients, including UK subsidiaries of overseas parent companies and businesses with turnovers between £4M and £30M. There are no overnight stays, as audits are conducted either onsite in Kettering or remotely.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of your own client portfolio with support from senior team members.
  • Leading audit fieldwork and substantive testing, both onsite and remotely.
  • Planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring high-quality documentation.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements and identifying risk areas.
  • Supporting the delivery of revenue and profitability targets.
