Summary of the Role
Our client – a successful firm of chartered accountants based in Kettering – is seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Senior accountant to oversee a portfolio of audit clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years practice experience in all aspects of audit, accounting, taxation, management information and statutory compliance. Experience in audits is essential to be able to perform the 'senior' role on audit assignments.
The role principally consists of Audits (40%) with time spent on completion of off-site audits with support from other members of the team. The remaining 60% is spent in the office on accounts preparation for sole traders and partnerships and small Limited companies, management accounts & VAT return preparation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years practice experience in all aspects of accounts and audit .
Candidates should possess experience of audits, ideally gained in a small-to-medium sized firm of Chartered or Certified accountants.
