They are ranked amongst the top ten accountancy firms in the UK and hold the position of the largest SME practice.Your new roleThey currently have an exciting opportunity to join their team in Kettering as a Senior. In this role you will be empowered and motivated to take charge of your own portfolio with support from your manager, contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets and build lasting client relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Actively participate in audit fieldwork, planned substantive, and analytical audit procedures, typically conducted on-site at client premises
- Plan and complete audit assignments, ensuring audit files are appropriately and sufficiently documented
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client data, identifying high-level risk areas or concerns to the Partner/Manager, using your judgment
- Plan the execution and finalisation of audit assignments for Partner/Manager review
What you'll need to succeedThe right person for the position will come with experience of working in regional or mid-tier firms and be actively studying or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CA. Proficiency in IFRS/UK GAAP is key, alongside experience auditing clients across various industries.
