• Lead and manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards
• Work with a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and charities
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing coaching and technical support
• Review audit files, identifying any risk areas and making recommendations for improvements
• Ensure audit work is completed on time and within budget, maintaining high-quality standards
• Liaise with clients, managers, and partners to ensure smooth delivery of services

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist) with experience in audit
• Experience in leading audit engagements within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
• Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Experience in mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
• A proactive, problem-solving approach with great attention to detail
• Strong time management and organisational skills

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
