Role Responsibilities- Lead and manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards
- Work with a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and charities
- Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing coaching and technical support
- Review audit files, identifying any risk areas and making recommendations for improvements
- Ensure audit work is completed on time and within budget, maintaining high-quality standards
- Liaise with clients, managers, and partners to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Support business development by identifying additional client service opportunities

Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist) with experience in audit
- Experience in leading audit engagements within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Experience in mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with great attention to detail
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
