- Financial analysis, including variance analysis to drive insight and improve operational performance.
- Implement Cost Control measures & identify opportunities for cost optimisation across manufacturing processes.
- Support centralised reporting function with the preparation and analysis of the site weekly and monthly accounts.
- Responsible for the costing of site products for new customers.
- Working with sourcing teams to drive margin growth and improved buying.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels and ensure accuracy of the values.
- Support production of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide key support to the site operations teams in terms of financial and commercial insights.
- Proven experience as an accountant within manufacturing with commercial experience desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Salary up to £55,000 dependant on experience
