Assistant Accountant, reporting to FC, part qualified head office role, Kettering, £(phone number removed)
Our client a multi sited company are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their professional head office finance team
As the Assistant Accountant your duties will include:
- Control and maintenance of various general ledger
- Analysis of account transactions
- Purchase Ledger and banking payments in multi-currencies
- Account reconciliations,Â
- Assistance and input to the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Annual planning and audit support.
- Ad hoc projects
The ideal candidate will hold the following attributes:
- High standards of numeracy, accuracy and consistency
- Proficient user of MS Excel and Word
- SAP ERP system experience is preferred
- Familiarity with accounting to Trial Balance
- Strong analytical skills
- Management reporting experience
- Banking and foreign exchange transactions
- Knowledge of statutory declarations (e.g. VAT, Corporation Tax)
- Capable of organising and prioritising workloads to meet tight company
- Reliable, dependable, conscientious and confident communicating at all levels.
