Key Duties Contract Design Engineer jobs role

• Design using SolidWorks design package.
• Develop innovative mechanical designs and solutions from conceptual level and up, in line with project/internal requirements.
• Produce 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Creation of part numbers and engineering BoMs.

About you / Your background

• Ideally BEng / MEng mechanical engineering (or similar)
• A senior mechanical engineer, principal engineer, mechanical project engineer, design engineer or senior design engineer who is seeking contract design engineer jobs
• Ideally some experience of conveyor design or sheet metal fabrication design.
• SolidWorks CAD experience.
• Project Engineering experience. Comfortable managing customer expectations and delivering to schedule / specification.
