Fraser Edwards are currently working with Asbestos Business that have been in business for more than 10 years with a team of more than 50 asbestos professionals and the team continues to grow every year.
Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting for a Asbestos Removal Operative to join the team. This position will be covering projects nationwide.
The Job:
- Perform asbestos removal activities in accordance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and project plans.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments against the plan of works and raise any concerns regarding the removals methods to the sites Asbestos Removals Supervisor.
- Safely handle, transport, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)and respiratory protection when working with asbestos.
- Respond to incidents or emergencies related to asbestos removal.
- Minimize the risk of contamination during asbestos removal activities.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in asbestos removal activities, including vacuum cleaners, saws, and power tools.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure that asbestos removal activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Ensure that you have read, signed, and understood the POW and associated risk assessments.
Company Benefits:
- Basic Salary: Up to £150 per day / shift (£39,150 per annum)
- Time and a half at weekends - dependent upon experience.

Candidate Requirements
- Asbestos Removal Operative Certificate (Minimum 2 Years experience) and all relevant documentation
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving License
