Job Purpose:The Accountancy & Finance Division is currently working with a reputable FMCG Business with recruiting an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist - 6 months FTC role. The role focuses on maintaining low levels of aged debt through managing cash allocation and trade marketing deductions, with support to the wider team. It includes essential accounting and month-end close tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage trade marketing deductions, ensuring timely cash allocation and resolving customer issues.
  • Keep aged debt under 60 days, including invoices and deductions.
  • Provide regular reporting to stakeholders to drive improvements.
  • Support internal/external audits (Statutory and SOX).
  • Complete month-end tasks (journals, reconciliations, reports) on time.
  • Assist with other financial areas as needed.

The successful Accounts Receivable Specialist must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • AR/Credit control experience.
  • FMCG experience with trade marketing deductions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fast, accurate, and organized.

Desirable:

  • Professional qualification (e.g., CICM, AAT) or aspiration to achieve one.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar.
