Red Recruitment are looking for a Production Operative for our client based in Kettering.
They are a Small, friendly company who manufacture Marquees and Temporary Warehouse structures. They are located in Kettering.
Clean working environment. Full training will be provided.
Duties will include:
- This is very much a hands-on role and the successful candidate would be required to take part in the daily manufacturing tasks.
- Use of workshop equipment like chop saws, pillar drills and air hand tools will be required for the role.
- Produce parts from technical drawings and using pre set jigs (training provided).
- Goods in, including completing the required paperwork.
- Picking and packing.
- Deliver goods to customers (on occasion).
- Occasionally erect Marquees or Temporary Warehouses as part of an installation team.
- General housekeeping
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Previous manufacturing/workshop experience.
- Full UK driver's license (3 points max).
- Flexible with working hours during busy periods.
- Able to do some very occasional overnight stays during marquee installs (this is not frequent, maybe 1 to 2 times a year if that).
- Counterbalance forklift license (not essential).
- The job requires you to be on your feet all day.
