Certification Systems CoordinatorKettering Monday to Friday - Office Based £24,000 = £26,000

Join a dynamic and independent research and testing organisation specialising in providing expertise across various sectors including footwear, leather, PPE, and quality assurance.

As the Certification Systems Coordinator, you will report to the Head of Product Certification and collaborate closely with colleagues throughout the department as well as the corporate Quality team. Your primary responsibility will be to take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the PPE Certification department. Key daily tasks will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing the internal ISO 17065 Quality System within their department.
  • Collaborating with the Quality Team to plan, schedule, and oversee internal audits of the ISO 17065 QMS.
  • Conducting internal audits for PPE Certification activities in accordance with the QMS and established procedures.
  • Performing gap analyses of new product working groups to capture and develop their product knowledge and technical capabilities.
  • Coordinating external committee attendance at European Vertical and Horizontal committees, including maintaining and circulating relevant documentation such as agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Monitoring and updating external systems to inform key stakeholders of significant Certification decisions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating departmental training activities and ensuring accurate records to capture staff competency.
  • Developing, reviewing, and revising internal and external documents and templates to ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Implementing, analysing, and reporting on quality metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinating and analysing departmental customer surveys and monitoring on-time delivery performances.
  • Undertaking additional administrative and quality-related tasks as required to support the team's objectives.
