Position: VAN Driver (3.5 tonne)

Start time: 06:00 - 4-5 PM

Shifts: Any 5 days out of 7

Pay : £ 13.23 ph

Candidates must have a valid driving licence and max 6-points

We are looking for Drivers who:

Demonstrate a respectful, positive attitude towards others. Behave in an fair and open manner
Work effectively as part of a team - role is working as a 2 person crew
Work safely within the Health, safety environmental guidelines and insist others do the same
Know the geographical area
Have a basic mechanical understanding

This is a home delivery role which would involve the delivery of items up to and including 79 kg as part of a 2 person crew.

A typical day would consist of between 15 and 20 deliveries to customer homes/premises spanning 11 hours (typical finish times are around 16:00 to 17:00)

Due to the nature of the role the candidate(s) would be required to be in good health and able to carry out manual handling tasks without issue.

Areas covered are Kettering, Coventry, Peterbrough, Leicester, Corby, Kings Lynn.

Skills
- Hold a valid driving licence with the appropriate entitlements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
- Familiarity with driving larger vehicles
- Ability to drive efficiently and safely
