Sales ManagerKetteringHours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hrsSalary to £50k plus benefitsOur established client based in Kettering is recruiting a Sales Manager on a full time, permanent basis to work in their Commercial Department to lead and inspire the global sales team.The Commercial Department is responsible for maintaining and increasing the company's global membership base along with driving sales of their many services.As a Sales Manager, you will be required to carry out the following:
  • Lead and inspire the internal Sales team
  • Deliver annual sales, new member and member retention targets
  • Increase the company's membership throughout all current and potential countries of operation
  • Increase sales of all company products, training and other services
  • Undertake regular visits and develop a contact plan for key customers
  • Develop strategic new member targets
  • Liaise closely with the sales team in all countries to support new and existing members
  • Organise events targeted at members and potential customers
  • Support with planning and meeting arrangements for exhibitions
About You ...Essential
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and inspiring a sales team
  • A comprehensive understanding and empathy with different and varied industries and a good understanding of various supply chains
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experienced results driven sales background
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills – must be self-motivated
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and able to build relationships with both customers and colleagues
  • Must be confident meeting face to face with all levels of management
  • Entrepreneurial and business savvy
  • Able to support colleagues in Sales & Marketing teams
  • English language skills
  • Experienced and comfortable with significant domestic and international travel, occasionally over weekends and for up to 20 weeks a year.
  • Hold a full driving licence
Desirable
  • Experience of working in a testing-based environment would be an advantage
  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams / Zoom, Powerpoint and delivering presentations / webinars
  • Experience of digital client management systems
  • Experience of organising and delivering events
  • Experience of overseas travel
  • Experience of using social media platforms
