Are you a skilled Press Brake Operator? Quest Employment have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client based in Burton Latimer are looking for a Dynamic Press Brake Operator to join their fantastic team on a Temporary to Permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal sheets according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Set up and calibrate press brake machines, selecting the correct tools and dies
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and notifying management when required.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of press brake operations and metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if required
- Use correct PPE at all times.
- Follow the SSOW documentation.
- CNC Machine Programming experience would be preferred (training will be provided)
