Debt Collection/ Credit Control
Starting basic salary: £28,000 per annum (OTE of £32,000 including performance bonus schemes)
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week)
Office based in Kettering

Because of the nature of this role, our client is ideally looking for somebody with a background within the following areas: Credit Control, Debt Collection or somebody that maybe hasn’t got the relevant experience, but has worked in consumer credit - financial services and has a good idea of what the roles entails. Here is a short summary of the role provided by our client:
You’ll be responsible for the management of all extended credit business accounts (their customers that have purchased their products and have a fixed weekly or monthly repayment agreement). Day to day you’ll be actively looking to resolve customer delinquent problems. Including responsibilities such as report and track net losses and delinquency accounts to management, answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status.
Further summary of what your daily duties will look like:
• Work directly with colleagues to control delinquency accounts • Ensure collection and repossession procedures adhere to corporate policy• Determine and negotiate partial and extended payments• Handle franchise credit approval 'appeals’ as needed• Analysis of the business portfolio and Formulating monthly action plans• Provide management with weekly forecasts• Resolve customer delinquency problems so as to retain customers and achieve permanent corrective action• Report and track net losses/delinquency to management • Develop strong business relationships with your colleagues to help you meet delinquency control and loss objectives • Answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status• Recommend legal action to management and carry out all necessary court follow up action • Submission of accounts to management for write-off as necessary, adhering to corporate policy
