Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based near Kettering. You’ll be working at our client’s UK Head Office and will work within a small team of 4 people, reporting to a Customer Service Manager. However, you’ll work within a large open office not far from other departments.

In this role you’ll support our client’s retail customers that have ordered products via their multiple branded online retail websites (very much an Ecommerce role) with all elements of customer service support. Whilst it will be majority email based, there will be phone calls too. Our client estimates there will be circa 10-20 calls per day (currently only 10 calls per day but will increase in busy periods). The enquiries you’ll respond to and resolve will be all things regarding the product (such as wrong item or faults for online returns) and offering general product advice for best suitability.

Being on-site in their Head Office you’ll also build relationships with other departments, such as the warehouse and other departments within the Marketing and Ecommerce teams.

Summary of your day to day:• Handling and resolving customer queries by both email and telephone for our client’s ecommerce websites to a very high standard. • Contacting customers to advise on any issues that may occur with their order. • Problem solving and escalating any issues or complaints that arise to the Customer Service Manager, to ensure they are dealt with efficiently. • Working closely with the Web Fulfilment Team in our client’s Warehouses to help resolve any despatch and return order issues and ensure the best service possible is given. • Working alongside your wider colleagues within the Ecommerce department, you’ll support with editing product images for the multiple B2C website sites and supporting the Ecommerce team with online marketing tasks as required.
