Senior Architect

This an exciting opportunity for an Architect to join a well-established, growing architectural practice that values its people, offers fantastic career progression, and provides exposure to a diverse range of high-value projects.

Are you an experienced Architect looking to work on large-scale, multi-sector projects? Are you seeking a role with long-term career progression in a collaborative and supportive environment?

With over a century of expertise, this respected architectural practice delivers projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and arts sectors. Known for investing in its people, the company offers structured training, professional development, and clear progression to Partner and Senior Partner levels. Due to continued growth, they're seeking an Architect to join the Kettering team.

This role will be mostly office-based, with some WFH and site travel. You will work both independently & lead a junior staff on projects ranging in value from 6m-70m across all the sectors mentioned.

The ideal candidate will either be a Chartered Architect or someone who is on the pathway to becoming chartered. You will be experienced in managing and delivering a variety of projects from inception to completion (RIBA Stages 0-7) and have experience leading junior staff.

The Role:

  • Work on mid-to-large-scale projects (6m-70m) across multiple sectors
  • Lead technical project delivery, ensuring high standards and compliance
  • Collaborate with a supportive team in a dynamic and social environment
  • Hybrid available & flexible working hours (start between 7:30 AM - 10 AM, finish between 4:30 PM - 6 PM)


The Person:

  • Chartered Architect or on the pathway to becoming chartered
  • Strong technical experience and ability to run projects independently & lead a team
  • Ambitious and eager to grow within a company that values long-term progression
  • Commutable distance from Kettering with a willingness to travel to sites across the Midlands
