Great opportunity to work as a General Operative for our client which removes the waste from the Morrisons warehouse - damaged goods, boxes, and binds, destroys, and removes all waste products.
Staffline is recruiting General Operatives in Kettering.
The rate of pay is:
- Days £11.44 per hour
- Nights £13 per hour
This role offers both full and part-time shifts, working 4 on 4 off and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6am
Your Time at Work
As a General Operative, you will be working in a production packhouse on the production line packing potatoes into baskets at the end of the line.
Other duties may include the use of a pump truck and FLT vehicles- If you hold the relevant licenses and have been fully trained.
You will receive 2 x 30-minute breaks. All breaks will be unpaid, but colleagues will receive paid time for all operational procedures. Morrisons also have a 5-minute waiver period which allows colleagues prep time to get to and from the changing areas/locker areas to the production floor on break times.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be physically fit due to the manual handling of boxes, lifting up to 20kg (a variety of supermarket items), and standing for the duration of the shift. You will be happy to work to targets.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
