You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver solutions that meet technical and safety standards, ensuring project success.The ideal Electrical Design Engineer is a skilled professional with experience in electrical engineering and system design. Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems is a plus, and a solid understanding of industrial networks and safety standards is essential.The Role:

  • Develop initial concept designs in collaboration with customers and in-house teams.
  • Create electrical schematic diagrams, panel layouts, and PLC wiring diagrams.
  • Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and order components.
  • Perform machinery safety circuit design and risk assessments (BS EN ISO 13849/60261).
  • Conduct LV distribution and cable calculations as needed.

The Person:

  • Proficiency in electrical drawings and fault-finding on existing systems.
  • Basic understanding of PLC, HMI, and SCADA software; Siemens experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, etc.).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for projects when required.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
