Your role

As a Production Operative you will be responsible for setting up and operating our state-of-the-art machinery.

What you’ll do

  • Demonstrate competence in timely machine setup, minimising down time and maximising efficiencies by working effectively as part of a team.
  • Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.

Experience

  • Desirable to have a basic understanding of safety in a production environment.
  • Desirable to have experience working in print/paper or corrugated industry.
  • Experience working in a production environment is desirable.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
  • Displays a self-belief that instils confidence in others. Be brave to make mistakes and learn from them.
  • Sees communication as a two-way process. Listens and values the opinion of others.
  • Basic PC literacy or desire to learn.

Qualifications/Education

  • Basic English and Maths.

Working hours - double days (rotating)

  • 06.00 - 14.00 Monday to Thursday and 6:00 - 12:00 Friday
  • 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Thursday and 12:00 - 18:00 Friday
